    研究明确证实未来南极增暖放大效应存在

    　　极地作为气候变化的敏感区，在全球持续增暖背景下，其增温幅度将显著高于全球水平，这一现象被称为“极地放大效应”。北极放大效应已较为明确，而南极放大效应的存在与成因仍有争议。 　　近日，记者从中国气象局了解到，中国气象科学研究院冰冻圈与极地气象研究团队的最新研究，明确证实了未来南极增暖放大效应的存在，并进一步揭示了其驱动机制。 　　全球变暖背景下，北极海冰快速消融，北极地区的气温升高速率是全球平均的4倍，但是过去几十年南极一直没有发现全域变暖甚至十几年前东南极冰盖有轻微降温的现象。大约从2015年之后开始，南极海冰快速消融并长期保持低位。 　　中国气象科学研究院全球变化与极地研究所所长 研究员 丁明虎：我们基于南极两百多个站的观测和我国第一代全球大气再分析资料，首次检测到了全南极出现增温的信号，过去四十年中南极增温0.12℃每10年，略低于全球平均水平，并且确认人类活动在其中有重要的贡献。 　　中国气象科学研究院研究显示，在《巴黎协定》设定的2℃温升情景下，整个南极地区将出现稳健的增暖信号，其整体增温幅度是南半球平均的1.4倍。 　　中国气象科学研究院全球变化与极地研究所所长 研究员 丁明虎：由于南半球咆哮西风带的隔离作用，人类活动的影响，主要是通过海洋表面的升温将热量传输到南极，这也是为什么南极变暖滞后于全球其它地区的原因。同时，我们还发现，由于海温持续升高，未来南极也会像北极一样，逐步出现放大效应，也就是增暖速度会加快。这项研究的意义： 　　一是确认了南极出现整体增温的现象； 　　二是证明了南极放大效应的存在，只是仍然需要数十年时间显现。 【编辑:李润泽】|dfg|
