    英国目前积压刑事案件超7.9万件

    　　中新社伦敦1月3日电 (记者 欧阳开宇)英国政府1月3日消息称，目前该国积压的刑事案件超7.9万件。为应对案件积压难题，官方发起一项招募活动，计划在下一个财政年度内新增2000名志愿地方法官。 　　英国副首相拉米表示，地方法官在法院系统中发挥“至关重要的作用”。他呼吁公众积极报名，为司法体系贡献力量，并称赞地方法官是“平凡英雄”，志愿担任这一职务既能实现自我价值，也能切实改变他人生活。 　　据英国媒体分析，案件审理的严重延误，导致部分2026年发生的严重犯罪案件，其受害者与嫌疑人可能要等到2030年之后才能迎来开庭审理。英国司法部预测，到2028年，该国积压的刑事案件或将攀升至10万起。 　　事实上，拉米在2025年12月已宣布对刑事法院启动全面改革，其中包括取消部分案件的陪审团制度，以期加快司法进程。 　　对于此次招募计划，英国地方法官协会认为这是对地方法官群体的“极大信任”，同时呼吁政府为法院配备更多资源，包括增派训练有素的法律顾问，以及修缮老旧的法院建筑。 　　据悉，新招募的地方法官需每年至少投入13天时间，参与刑事、青少年、民事及家庭类案件的审理工作，履职期间会有专业法律顾问提供协助。(完) 【编辑:甘甜】|dfg|
